Nelson Garcia

Nelson Garcia is a co-founder and managing partner at RARE CRE, with over 14 years of experience in commercial real estate and capital markets.

Previously, Nelson co-founded G2 Wireless, a telecommunications and media company specializing in the strategic acquisition of wireless rights and the innovative development and monetization of carrier-grade Wi-Fi networks throughout the Caribbean and Latin America.

Before his foray into the telecommunications domain, Nelson ran a consulting company. His multifaceted portfolio included advising on commercial real estate debt and equity financing transactions exceeding $150 million, spearheading the development of an online crowdfunding platform for a multinational conglomerate, and providing invaluable insights for operational and systems optimization to numerous commercial real estate investment and development firms.

Nelson's entrepreneurial journey was preceded by a career in real estate private equity and investment banking. His role at CGI Merchant Group left an enduring impact, as he played a pivotal part in the acquisition, development, and financing of over 2 million square feet of commercial, multifamily, and hospitality projects.

Nelson is a licensed real estate broker and has a Bachelor's degree with a finance and real estate specialization from Florida International University, where he was a member of the FIU Rugby team. In his leisure moments he enjoys spending time with his family, mountain biking, distance running, and playing golf.
